6/19/2010: Community BBQ and Market Event
Update: The event has passed and was, overall, a successful learning experience. Volunteers and sellers came really early
and stayed late. Sellers patiently waited as customers glanced at their stocks of games, clothing,
pottery, bracelets, homemade crafts, and food.
The event attracted a decent amount outside customers. We learned that many customers do not like walking,
so we allowed them to park in the driveway.
C&T's most successful venture, the raffle, was helped by some very eager volunteers who asked everyone to participate
and even made some deals to get people to buy in.
And though the moon bounce didn't pay for itself, it was still a fun break for volunteers and sellers.

New Newsletter
C&T's second newsletter will arrive this summer with updates on upcoming events, stories, and columns for many subjects. Don't forget to
read and comment on it so that we may improve.
We currently have positions for the writer and editor filled, but need many more people to
take up columnist positions.
